Merchandising Assistant

The Merchandising Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Merchandising Manager in all aspects of product development and delivery. This position is based in Mauren and is suitable for Indian candidates with no English language requirements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, but candidates without experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandising Manager in developing and executing product strategies
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new product opportunities
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Create and maintain product information sheets, including pricing, specifications, and images
- Assist with product ordering, tracking, and invoicing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and sales to ensure successful product launches
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred, but not required
- Fluent in English language is not mandatory for this role (basic knowledge is sufficient)
- Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in merchandising or related field preferred but not required

Salary: $1600 per month
