Seasonal Executive Chef in Gujrat, India
We are excited to offer a seasonal opportunity for an Executive Chef to join our team at a luxurious resort in Gujrat, India. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the resort's culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. This is a temporary position with a duration of 6 months, perfect for someone looking to gain experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and delicious menus for all meals offered at the resort
- Ensure high quality and consistency of all dishes served
- Oversee food preparation and cooking by the kitchen staff
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events or themed dinners
- Monitor budget and control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing resources
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef is preferred but not required
- Passion for cooking and creating unique dishes using local ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one before starting employment
Salary:
This is a seasonal position with a salary of 1000$ per month. Accommodation will be provided on-site.
