Job Title: Executive Chef - Culinary Arts Professional
We are in search of a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our culinary team at a luxury hotel in Gujrat. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional and modern cooking techniques, as well as experience working with diverse international cuisines.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food items
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage food inventory and control costs to meet budgetary goals
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of culinary arts, techniques, and ingredients
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining consistency with traditional recipes
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach to managing kitchen staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with various international cuisines is preferred
- Degree or certification from a reputable culinary institute is preferred
