Senior Accountant



The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in financial management and reporting. This position is based in the vibrant city of Hawalli, Kuwait and is open to Indian nationals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities for our company, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide support during audits by external auditors
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Conduct monthly closing procedures
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
