Office Assistant - Eldoret, Kenya
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Office Assistant to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our office, providing support to our staff and ensuring the smooth functioning of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors to the office, answering any questions and directing them to the appropriate person or department
- Manage incoming phone calls, taking messages and forwarding calls as needed
- Keep the office clean and organized, including maintaining supplies and equipment
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and photocopying
- Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members as requested
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
- Monitor office inventory and order supplies when needed
- Assist with preparing documents and presentations as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an office setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
