Puncher - Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Puncher to join our metal fabrication team in Dubrovnik, Croatia. As a Puncher, you will be responsible for operating punch press machines and other tools to punch holes and shapes in metal sheets and plates according to specific design specifications. Your attention to detail and precision will be crucial in ensuring the quality of our products. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate punch press machines to punch holes and shapes in metal sheets and plates
- Read and interpret design drawings, blueprints, and templates
- Inspect workpieces for defects or imperfections
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers to ensure accuracy
- Adjust machine settings as needed for different materials or thicknesses
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Puncher or similar role in metal fabrication
- Strong knowledge of punch press machines and other tools used in the process
- Ability to read design drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and rulers
- Attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials if necessary
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or training in metal fabrication or related field
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their properties
- Experience with CNC machines is a plus
