Pastry Chef - Herzliya


We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Herzliya. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious desserts and pastries for our restaurant. You must have a passion for baking and be knowledgeable about different pastry techniques and recipes. In addition to your baking skills, you should also have strong organizational skills, as you will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a high-end restaurant or hotel, as well as excellent communication and time-management skills. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare high-quality desserts and pastries according to recipes
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, order new items as needed
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and meets all food safety standards
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into dessert offerings
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Knowledgeable about different pastry techniques and recipes
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, ordering supplies, etc.
- Ability to lead and train junior staff members
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new dessert offerings
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (Hebrew is a plus)
