Waiter/Waitress

We are a busy restaurant located in Nakuru, Kenya seeking a friendly and efficient Waiter or Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks to customers with attention to detail and presentation
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and prompt resolution
- Process payments accurately using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms
- Assist with setting up tables for new customers and clearing tables after customers leave

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a customer service role is a plus but not required
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
The starting salary for this position is $1100 per month. Tips are also shared among all staff members.
