Head Chef
A prestigious restaurant in Eldoret is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious dishes and a strong understanding of various cooking techniques. The Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a full-time position with a salary of 900$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus with creative and innovative dishes that meet customers' preferences and seasonal availability
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoring performance
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Handle any customer complaints or special requests regarding food

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant environment
- Excellent knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation styles
- Leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Egyptian cuisine is a plus)
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
