Preservation Architect


As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Greenland. You will work closely with clients, government agencies, and preservation organizations to ensure that projects meet all regulatory and historical requirements. This is a full-time position that requires experience in the field of preservation architecture.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research on historic buildings and structures
- Assessing the condition of existing buildings and determining necessary repairs or restoration work
- Developing preservation plans and strategies
- Obtaining necessary permits from government agencies
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors to develop restoration plans
- Overseeing the construction process to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality of work
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in preservation architecture
- Knowledge of historical preservation laws, regulations, and standards
- Experience working with government agencies and preservation organizations
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This job is located in Greenland. While preference will be given to candidates who are already living in or willing to relocate to Greenland, we welcome applications from all nationalities.
