Mechanical Fitter



As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in our manufacturing plant in Jerusalem. Your main duties will include reading and interpreting technical drawings, operating various hand and power tools, and ensuring that all machinery is functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to assemble machinery according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to install and maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical issues that arise
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of machinery
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating equipment
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to read technical drawings
- Experience operating hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery for prolonged periods of time
