Head Baker


As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bakery operations in our bustling bakery in Akron, Ohio. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for artisanal baked goods. This role will be ideal for someone with experience in managing a team of bakers and creating high-quality, delicious products.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of bakers to ensure efficient production and delivery of baked goods
- Develop and implement new recipes and techniques to enhance the bakery's menu
- Maintain inventory levels and order necessary supplies to meet production demands
- Ensure consistent quality of all baked goods by conducting regular taste tests and making necessary adjustments
- Train new bakers on company standards, procedures, and techniques
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the bakery equipment
- Monitor sales trends and adjust production accordingly to minimize waste
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to develop innovative products that meet customer demand

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as a baker or pastry chef in a high-volume bakery or restaurant setting
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team of bakers
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and safety procedures
- Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Creativity in developing new recipes and adapting existing ones to meet customer preferences
- Strong communication skills to effectively lead and train team members
- Detail-oriented with ability to maintain high standards of quality control
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: $1400 per month (with potential for bonuses based on performance)

Location: Akron, Ohio (Candidates from India are preferred but not required)
