Formworker
A reputable construction company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled Formworker to join our team. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for constructing formwork and ensuring it is strong, sturdy, and able to hold concrete in place during the pouring process. You will also be responsible for removing the formwork once the concrete has set and repairing any damaged formwork. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working as a Formworker in the construction industry and possess excellent knowledge of various types of formwork systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential for this role. This is a full-time position with an attractive salary of $1000 per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Constructing formwork according to construction plans and specifications
- Ensuring formwork is properly braced, aligned, and secured
- Reading blueprints and determining appropriate materials needed
- Pouring concrete into formwork and smoothing it out with hand or power tools
- Removing formwork after concrete has set and inspecting for damage or defects
- Repairing or replacing damaged formwork as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
- Knowledge of various types of formwork systems including timber, steel, and aluminum
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and use hand/power tools safely

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Carpentry or related field
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
