Formwork Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Formwork Carpenter to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling formwork structures for concrete pouring. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut wood according to specifications
- Assemble formwork structures using nails, bolts, or screws
- Ensure that structures are level and secure
- Install reinforcing bars and mesh as needed
- Pour and spread concrete into formwork
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand or power tools
- Remove formwork once concrete is set
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Formworker or Carpenter
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per week.

Location:
This job is based in Los Angeles, USA. While we welcome candidates of all nationalities, preference will be given to those living in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Some overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
