Indian Pastry Chef in Nairobi, Kenya
As an Indian Pastry Chef in Nairobi, Kenya, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of Indian-inspired desserts and pastries. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of taste and presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing creative dessert menu items that incorporate traditional Indian flavors and ingredients
- Preparing a variety of pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats
- Ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients to maintain freshness
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new dessert recipes
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Adhering to all food safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Solid knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and ingredients
- Ability to create visually appealing desserts with attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Salary: We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.
