Chef de Cuisine
The Chef de Cuisine will oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu planning to food preparation and service. We are looking for a creative and experienced chef who is passionate about creating unique and delicious dishes that showcase our restaurant's style and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with at least 5 years of experience in a high-end restaurant setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that are innovative, on-trend, and reflect the restaurant's brand
- Oversee food preparation and ensure the highest quality standards are met
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling procedures
- Maintain inventory levels and control food costs
- Collaborate with management to create seasonal specials and promotions
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with different flavors and techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
