Network and Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team in Kaunas. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting our network and systems infrastructure. This includes ensuring the availability, security, and efficiency of our network and systems to support the organization's operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of networking concepts, experience with system administration, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and system administration
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with firewall configuration and management
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade network equipment (routers, switches)
and servers
- Monitor network performance to ensure maximum availability
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide technical support
- Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats
- Maintain user accounts and access controls
- Collaborate with other IT team members on system upgrades or implementations
- Conduct regular backups of data for disaster recovery purposes
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for improvements
