Power Engineer
Location: Bungoma, Kenya


We are currently hiring a qualified Power Engineer to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining and operating power systems and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of electricity to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical systems and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Conduct testing, analysis, and troubleshooting of power systems and equipment
- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on power systems
- Monitor and analyze power system performance to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Provide technical support to clients regarding power system operations and maintenance
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians on project planning and execution

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in power engineering or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles, codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Familiarity with power system design software and tools (e.g. AutoCAD)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
