We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power Engineer to join our team in Bungoma. As a Power Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and operating power systems and equipment. Your main goal will be to ensure the reliable and efficient distribution of electricity to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing power systems, including generators, transformers, switchgear, and other equipment
- Conducting regular maintenance and repairs on power systems to ensure their proper functioning
- Troubleshooting any issues with power systems and providing prompt solutions
- Monitoring the performance of power systems and making adjustments as needed for optimal efficiency
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex problems
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Keeping accurate records of system operations and maintenance activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Power Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of power system design principles, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, protective relaying, etc.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g. NEC, NESC)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1700 per month.

Location:
This job is located in Bungoma. However, applicants from Nepal are welcome to apply as well.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday. However, some flexibility may be required for urgent situations.
