Housekeeper (Indian Nationality)


A reputable hotel in Nakuru is seeking a diligent and hardworking Housekeeper to join our team. As an Indian national, you will feel right at home in our diverse and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1800$ per month, along with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including changing linens and making beds
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust and debris
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and refreshments
- Report any damages or maintenance issues to management
- Follow all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals
- Maintain a friendly demeanor towards guests and assist with any special requests or inquiries

Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Fluent in English with good communication skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is an asset but not required
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under time constraints
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25lbs
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
