Solar Installer
A solar installer is responsible for the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems. They work with a team to set up solar panels, wiring, and other equipment necessary to convert sunlight into electricity. The role also involves troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise with the system.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain solar energy systems according to project specifications
- Work with a team to set up solar panels, wiring, inverters, and other equipment
- Ensure proper and safe connection of components in the system
- Test and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during installation or maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on roofs or at heights
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies for projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions from clients
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on existing systems to ensure optimal performance
- Keep accurate records of work performed and submit reports as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training in electrical or solar installation preferred
- Previous experience in solar installation or related field is a plus
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment
- Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations related to solar installations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid biometric passport (if required for travel)

$1600 per month
