Skilled Mason - Contract Position in Khanpur


We have an urgent need for a skilled mason to join our team on a contract basis in Khanpur. As a mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys using various types of bricks, stones, and other materials. You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints and follow building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks or stones in a neat and orderly manner to construct walls, arches, fireplaces, chimneys, or other structures
- Cut or shape materials to fit specific dimensions using hand or power tools
- Mix mortar or grout according to standard ratios
- Fill joints between bricks or stones with mortar or grout using a trowel
- Repair cracks or damaged areas in existing structures
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment at all times
- Maintain clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mason
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and smoothing materials
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights if necessary
- Attention to detail for creating precise structures

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in masonry from a trade school or apprenticeship program
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects
- Knowledge of different types of bricks, stones, and other materials used in masonry

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
This job is based in Khanpur but may require travel to different job sites within the city.
