Instrument Technician - Bungoma, Kenya

We are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments used in industrial and manufacturing settings. This role requires strong technical knowledge and experience working with a variety of equipment, such as sensors, gauges, and control systems.

Responsibilities:
- Install new instruments according to specifications
- Inspect and test instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or issues with instruments
- Perform regular maintenance on instruments to prevent breakdowns
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers on larger projects
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in instrument technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Experience working with a variety of hand tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments

We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month with the opportunity for growth within the company. This is a full-time position with flexible hours. Accommodation will not be provided, but we can assist with finding suitable housing if needed. Applicants must have their own valid work visa for Kenya.
