Job Title: Instrument Technician for Biometric Passport Processing in Bungoma, India


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our team in Bungoma, India. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the specialized equipment used in processing biometric passports. This includes calibrating and adjusting instruments, conducting tests and inspections, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in processing biometric passports
- Calibrate and adjust instruments according to specifications
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure accuracy of measurements
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with equipment performance
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and order replacements as needed
- Keep detailed records of instrument maintenance and repairs
- Train other technicians on proper use of equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Proficient in operating specialized equipment such as spectrometers, chromatographs, and microscopes
- Strong understanding of scientific principles related to instrument calibration and measurement accuracy
- Familiarity with biometric technology preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

This job is located in Bungoma, India. Candidates must be Indian nationals with a valid biometric passport.
