Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team in Herzliya. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and managing kitchen staff. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a chef, with a strong background in international cuisine and fine dining. A degree in culinary arts or equivalent is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality menus that cater to various dietary requirements and preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are executed to the highest standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain an efficient and well-stocked kitchen
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring professional development and adherence to safety and health regulations
- Monitor food costs, maintain budget constraints, and implement cost-saving measures
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef in high-end restaurants or hotels
- Experience with international cuisine and fine dining preferred
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or equivalent training
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
Salary: $1800/month (negotiable based on experience)
Preference for Canadian candidates. Fluency in English is an asset.
