Construction Project Manager


As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects in Nakuru. Your main goal will be to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution. This is a contract position suitable for English-speaking Indians with their own visa or students looking for short-term employment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Monitor progress of construction projects and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders about project status and any issues that may arise
- Conduct site visits to inspect work progress and quality control

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Proficient in using project management software such as MS Project or Primavera P6
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Nakuru but may require occasional travel to other cities within Kenya.
