Warehouse Associate

We are currently hiring for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Funchal. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the storage, inventory management, and distribution of goods in our warehouse. This is a physical role that requires the ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments of goods
- Sort, label, and store items in designated locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Prepare orders for shipment and load onto trucks
- Operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move goods
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Basic math skills for inventory management purposes
- Familiarity with operating equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
