Unity Game Developer



As a Unity Game Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing game mechanics, systems, and features for our upcoming mobile game. You will work closely with the design team to bring their ideas to life through coding and scripting in Unity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design team to understand game mechanics and implement them in Unity
- Create efficient and optimized code for gameplay systems and features
- Debug and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during development
- Ensure smooth performance on all target platforms (iOS and Android)
- Develop and maintain documentation for code, tools, and processes
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and trends in game development

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Unity developer
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language
- Experience working on at least one published mobile game
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient code
- Passion for gaming and staying up-to-date with current trends in the industry

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with other game engines such as Unreal or GameMaker Studio
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Maya or Blender

Location: Funchal, Portugal (willingness to relocate preferred)

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)
