Warehouse Worker


We are in need of a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker for our company in Braga. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products within the warehouse. Your main duties will include loading and unloading shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of contents
- Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves or bins according to organizational standards
- Organize inventory to ensure efficient storage and easy accessibility
- Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
- Prepare orders for shipment by pulling items from shelves according to pick ticket instructions
- Wrap orders securely for shipping, ensuring items are not damaged during transport
- Load shipments onto trucks or vans using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Inspect equipment regularly to ensure they are in good working condition
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, dusting, and disposing of trash regularly

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse setting
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency (Portuguese/English) is preferred but not required
