Pastry Chef
As a Pastry Chef in our team, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods. This position is based in Dickirch, but we welcome candidates from all nationalities who have a passion for pastry making and are fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new dessert and pastry recipes
- Prepare and bake a wide range of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
- Ensure high quality standards are met in terms of taste, appearance, and presentation
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies needed for daily operations
- Train and supervise junior pastry staff members
- Keep work area clean and organized according to health department standards
- Collaborate with other chefs to create menu offerings that align with the restaurant's overall concept
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique recipes and presentation ideas
- Strong knowledge of ingredients, baking techniques, and food safety regulations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely delivery of desserts to customers
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player mentality with strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this full-time position.
