Bilingual Interpreter (English-Canadian French)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in St-Petersburg on a contract basis. As an interpreter, you will be responsible for facilitating communication between English-speaking and Canadian French-speaking individuals. This role requires strong language skills in both English and Canadian French, as well as cultural competency and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate interpretation services for meetings, conferences, and other events as needed
- Translate written documents from English to Canadian French or vice versa
- Ensure clear and effective communication between parties by accurately conveying tone, context, and cultural nuances
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Research specialized vocabulary and terminology in various subjects as needed
Requirements:
- Native fluency in both English and Canadian French
- Proven experience as an interpreter or translator
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong cultural competency and knowledge of both English-speaking and Canadian French-speaking cultures
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Salary: $1300 per month (with accommodation provided)
