Head Chef for Indian Cuisine in Sofia
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at a prestigious Indian restaurant in the vibrant city of Sofia. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative and authentic Indian dishes that will delight our customers. You must have a strong background in Indian cuisine, including traditional cooking methods, spices and ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase the best of Indian cuisine
- Plan, prepare and cook high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment according to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to continuously improve menu offerings and customer experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef specializing in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, spices, and ingredients used in Indian cuisine
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is an asset
Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (candidate's nationality or location is not a strict requirement)
