Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our high-end restaurant in Sofia, you will be responsible for overseeing our kitchen operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are seeking a talented and experienced chef with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Create new menu items and regularly update existing menus to reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
- Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure a cohesive team environment
- Monitor food costs, labor costs, and other expenses to maintain profitability without compromising on quality
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations in the kitchen
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven track record of creating unique and memorable dishes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken) is preferred but not required
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1100$ per month for this position.
