Android Developer



As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and improvements. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and fixing bugs, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs in a timely manner
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Provide technical support to clients as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven working experience in Android app development (2+ years)
- Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
Location: Atlanta (preference for Indian candidates)
Salary: $1500 USD/month (without accommodation)
Work Visa: Provided by company
