Biometric Passport Information Technology Manager

As a Biometric Passport Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation and maintenance of biometric passport systems in our company's office in Lisbon. Your main task will be to ensure the security and efficiency of our biometric passport system, as well as providing technical support to our employees. You must have at least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a strong understanding of biometric technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of biometric passport technology
- Ensure that all necessary security measures are in place to protect sensitive data
- Develop and implement procedures for data backup and disaster recovery
- Monitor system performance and make adjustments as needed
- Provide technical support to employees with any issues related to biometric passport systems
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in biometric technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management with a focus on biometric technology
- Strong understanding of biometric systems, including fingerprint, facial recognition, and iris scanning technologies
- Knowledge of data backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members

Preferred:
- Experience working with a diverse team in an international setting
- Biometric passport experience preferred but not required

Salary: $1500 per month

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (local candidates preferred)
