Merchandiser - Eldoret, Kenya


As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed and promoted in a way that maximizes sales and increases brand visibility. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a passion for retail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement merchandising plans and strategies to drive sales
- Conduct product displays and promotions in accordance with brand guidelines
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to make informed decisions about product placement
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies
- Train and motivate store staff on merchandising techniques and product knowledge
- Conduct regular store visits to assess the effectiveness of product displays and provide recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant degree or certification preferred
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, if necessary

Salary:
Starting salary of 1800$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Eldoret, Kenya. Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already residing in the area.
