Job Title: Mason for Construction Company in Nairobi

Our construction company in Nairobi is seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining structures made of brick, stone, and concrete. The ideal candidate will have experience working with both residential and commercial projects and possess knowledge of different types of masonry techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Lay out patterns and foundations for structures using measuring tools
- Mix mortar or grout according to specified formulas
- Cut or shape bricks, stones, or concrete blocks using hand tools or power tools
- Set and align bricks or stone according to blueprints or specifications
- Remove excess mortar from joints using trowels or other hand tools
- Repair cracks or damage in existing masonry structures
- Coordinate with other construction workers to ensure proper installation of masonry components
- Follow safety standards and procedures while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Proficient in using hand and power tools related to masonry work
- Knowledge of different types of masonry techniques such as bricklaying, stonemasonry, and concrete finishing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work on scaffolding at heights
- Possess a biometric passport for international travel (Pakistani nationality preferred)
- Fluent in English (preferred)

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
