Mason - Construction Worker in Nairobi, Kenya



We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our construction team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Mason, you will be responsible for building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and roofs using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. You will work under the direction of a supervisor and collaborate with other construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark building lines on construction site
- Interpret blueprints to determine layout of structures
- Mix mortar and concrete by hand or with machines
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks or other materials to construct walls or other structures
- Cut or shape bricks and other materials to fit specific spaces or angles
- Use tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, and trowels to complete tasks
- Repair cracks or holes in existing structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Physically fit with good balance and hand-eye coordination
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
As a Mason in Nairobi, Kenya you can expect to earn around 1300$ per month.
