Mason - Construction and Repair Specialist (Indian Nationals)



We are a leading construction company based in Nairobi, seeking experienced Indian Nationals to join our team as Masons. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and repair work, with excellent skills in masonry and bricklaying.

As a Mason, you will be responsible for all aspects of construction and repair using various materials such as bricks, stones, concrete blocks, and tiles. You will work closely with other members of the construction team to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare building foundations by laying out and installing concrete footings
- Lay bricks or other materials to construct walls, arches, chimneys, or other structures
- Cut or shape bricks according to project needs using hand tools or power tools
- Align structures vertically and horizontally using plumb bob, levels, or laser equipment
- Apply mortar between joints of bricks or stones and remove excess mortar
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Knowledge of different types of brickwork patterns and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1100 per month for this position.

Location:
This job is located in Nairobi but open to Indian Nationals who are willing to relocate.

Accommodation:
This position does not include accommodation. However, we can assist with finding suitable housing options upon request.

Visa Requirements:
Candidates must have their own valid visa for Kenya before applying for this position.
