Plasterboard Worker

A reputable construction company in Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in installing, repairing, and finishing plasterboard walls and ceilings. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for measuring and cutting plasterboard to fit specific spaces, applying joint compound and tape to cover joints, sanding surfaces for a smooth finish, and ensuring the overall quality of the final product.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific spaces
- Install plasterboard on walls and ceilings using appropriate tools
- Apply joint compound and tape to cover joints between panels
- Smooth out surfaces using sandpaper or other tools
- Repair any damaged areas or imperfections in the plasterboard
- Ensure all safety standards are followed while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Plasterboard Worker or similar role
- Must have experience with measuring, cutting, and installing plasterboard
- Knowledge of different types of joint compounds and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as required on job sites
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce flawless finishes

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per week for this full-time position.

Location:
This position is located in Las Vegas but we welcome candidates from all nationalities who are eligible to work in the US with a valid biometric passport.

Other Requirements:
We also welcome students who are looking for part-time work during their studies. English speaking skills are preferred but not required as long as the candidate is able to understand instructions in English.
