Restaurant Manager - English Speaking



We are in search of a highly experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Nakuru. As an English-speaking establishment, we are looking for a candidate who is fluent in the language to effectively communicate with our international customers. As this is a seasonal job, we require someone who can hit the ground running and has previous experience in managing a restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant and ensure smooth service
- Train and manage staff, including scheduling shifts and handling any employee issues
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring quality food and service
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Keep track of financial records and handle cash transactions accurately

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
- Customer-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional service
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to attract customers
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
