Foundry Technician

Our foundry company in Pula is seeking a skilled and experienced Foundry Technician to join our team. As a Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various tools and equipment used in the casting process, including furnaces, molds, and casting machines. You will also be in charge of monitoring the production process to ensure that quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain foundry equipment such as furnaces, molds, and casting machines
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Monitor production process to ensure quality standards are met
- Prepare materials for casting process
- Follow safety protocols at all times
- Keep accurate records of materials used and production data
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a foundry setting
- Good physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and operate machinery
- Knowledge of casting processes such as sand casting, investment casting, or die casting
- Familiarity with different types of metals used in casting (iron, aluminum, bronze)
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)
- Basic computer skills for record keeping purposes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Pula
