Database Administrator

We are hiring a Database Administrator to manage and maintain our company's databases in Jerusalem. The ideal candidate should have experience in database management and be familiar with various database technologies. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our databases, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. You should have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$ per month. Filipinos with experience in database administration are preferred, but all nationalities are welcome to apply. English language skills are not required for this position. Accommodation will not be provided, so candidates must have their own visa to work in Jerusalem.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining databases
- Ensuring database security by setting up user permissions and roles
- Monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments
- Troubleshooting database issues and providing timely resolutions
- Performing regular backups and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems

Requirements:
- Experience working as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL, Oracle or SQL Server
- Familiarity with database design principles and data normalization techniques
- Understanding of data backup, recovery, and security procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
