Preservation Architect - Vilnius, Lithuania
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city of Vilnius. Your main role will be to assess the condition of these structures, develop plans for their preservation, and oversee construction projects to ensure that they are carried out according to historic preservation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine their condition and any potential threats to their preservation
- Developing comprehensive preservation plans that meet regulatory requirements and adhere to historic preservation standards
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation plans and oversee construction projects
- Conducting research on historical buildings and structures to ensure accurate restoration methods are used
- Creating detailed drawings, specifications, and reports for preservation projects
- Communicating with government agencies, property owners, and community members about the importance of preserving historical structures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Extensive knowledge of architectural history and styles
- Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and conservation principles
- Proficient in using CAD software for design work
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse team
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

This position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania.
