Software Tester



The Software Tester will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing on various software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work closely with development teams. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in software testing and a strong understanding of testing methodologies.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Identify and document defects and track them through resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Review business requirements to ensure test coverage
- Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (JIRA, Selenium)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or Python is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Location: Porto, Portugal (local candidates preferred)

Salary: $1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Note: This is not an urgent job opportunity. Candidates must have their own visa/permit to work in Portugal. Accommodation will not be provided.
