Florist Assistant

Our flower shop in Nizwa is looking for a talented and passionate Florist Assistant to join our team. As a Florist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our senior florists in creating stunning arrangements, maintaining the inventory of flowers and supplies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior florists in creating floral arrangements according to client preferences
- Maintain the inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies
- Ensure all flowers and plants are properly watered, trimmed, and cared for
- Arrange displays and maintain the overall appearance of the shop
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their orders and answering any questions they may have
- Assist with deliveries as needed
- Keep track of orders and ensure they are completed on time
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the shop as needed

Requirements:
- Passion for flowers and floral design
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Availability to work weekends and holidays if needed

We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month as well as opportunities for growth within our company. This is an ideal job for someone without experience in floristry who is looking to learn from experienced florists. Accommodation is not provided, so we prefer applicants who are already based in Nizwa or have their own housing arrangements.
