Office Manager - Contract Position in Washington, D.C., USA
A reputable organization is seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Manager for a short-term contract position in Washington, D.C. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Schedule appointments and meetings for management and staff
- Coordinate travel arrangements for employees
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Assist with budget management and expense tracking
- Process invoices and ensure timely payment
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers
- Oversee the maintenance of office equipment and facilities
- Implement and maintain office policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in office administration or related field
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or similar role
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with budget management preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet tight deadlines
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information
This is a contract position for 3 months with a salary of $1200 per month. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
