Metal Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Worker to join our team in Shan, Nepal. As a Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal parts and structures using specialized tools and equipment. You will work with a variety of metals including steel, aluminum, and copper to create products such as pipes, ductwork, and structural components.

Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cutting, shaping, and bending metal using tools such as saws, shears, presses, and drills
- Welding or soldering pieces together to form structures or repair damaged parts
- Using measuring tools to ensure accuracy of cuts and bends
- Finishing surfaces by polishing or grinding to remove sharp edges or imperfections
- Inspecting finished products for quality assurance before installation or delivery
- Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes to move materials around the workshop

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Worker or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in operating various metalworking tools and equipment
- Skilled in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for handling heavy materials
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working with hazardous materials
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Salary: 1500$ per month

Location: Shan, Nepal
