Radio Technician

We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team in Lusail. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio equipment and systems. You will also troubleshoot any issues that may arise and provide technical support to clients.

To excel in this role, you must have experience working with radio equipment and systems, as well as knowledge of radio frequency technology. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are also essential. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair various radio equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot issues with radio equipment and provide technical support
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on radio equipment
- Monitor signal strength and adjust settings as needed
- Keep accurate records of all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of all radio systems
- Stay updated on advancements in radio technology

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Knowledge of radio frequency technology and equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent recordkeeping abilities

Education and Certifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Broadcast Technologist) a plus
