Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant in our company, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure compliance with accounting principles and procedures. Your duties will include preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing recommendations for improvement. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently. Fluency in English is not required, but proficiency in Hindi or another Indian language is preferred. This position does not include accommodation or sponsorship for a biometric passport. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, and payroll
- Prepare and review financial statements on a monthly and annual basis
- Analyze financial data and provide insights into company performance
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Develop and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Effective communication skills in English (Hindi or other Indian languages preferred)
